ARYSTA LIFESCIENCE CORPORATION NAMES NEW GLOBAL MARKETING HEAD
Tokyo, 13 January 2010 - Arysta LifeScience Corporation announced today the hiring of Paula Pinto as the company’s new Global Marketing Head. In this role, Pinto will work to ensure that the company realizes growth from its existing product portfolio and will identify new opportunities for growth through acquisition, licenses and the development of new products and technologies.
Prior to joining Arysta LifeScience, Pinto held a range of senior roles of increasing responsibilities at Momentive Performance Materials, from Plant Manager, Brazil, to Latin America Sales and Marketing Director, Specialty Fluids, to her latest position as Global Marketing Director, Silicone Fluids. Her career at Momentive and its predecessor companies -- including Union Carbide, OSi Specialties Corporation and GE Silicones -- spanned 21 years.

Originally from Brazil, Pinto has lived in multiple world regions, is fluent in four languages and has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sao Paulo.
