Arysta LifeScience licenses Flucarbazone chemistry to Syngenta Crop Protection
CARY, NC (November 16, 2009) – Arysta LifeScience Canada, Inc., announced today an agreement with Syngenta Crop Protection Canada, Inc., to license the Arysta LifeScience Flucarbazone herbicide chemistry to Syngenta Crop Protection.
Flucarbazone is the high performance active ingredient in EVEREST® herbicide. Syngenta will market the chemistry with the launch of both Sierra™ and Pace™.

Under this agreement, Syngenta Crop Protection will license Clodinafop 60EC, the formulation in Syngenta Horizon® NG herbicide, to be marketed by Arysta LifeScience as NextStep® NG. This agreement will allow Arysta LifeScience to continue to develop unique chemistries and to further enhance its crop protection portfolio.
