Two New Senior Executives Join Arysta LifeScience Team

New Global Heads of Life Science and Strategy based in Tokyo

TOKYO, July 15, 2005 - Nobumasa Ishiai recently was appointed Global Head of the Life Science Unit and Dipak Amin was appointed Global Head of Strategy of Arysta LifeScience. Both senior executives are based in Tokyo and report to President and CEO Chris Richards.

Nobumasa Ishiai will provide leadership to all aspects of the global Life Science business. The Life Science operation develops, processes and markets products and applications related to pharmaceuticals, neutraceuticals, veterinary medicine, fine chemical intermediates, cosmetic and health foods. A vital part of the company’s global strategy, the Life Science business complements the company's crop protection business by helping humans and animals live healthier lives.

Prior to joining Arysta LifeScience, Ishiai was senior vice president of Invensys Climate Controls Asia/Pacific, simultaneously serving as president and CEO of Ranco Japan, an Invensys subsidiary. Prior to that, he worked for General Electric (GE) in Japan and the U.S.A. and served as COO & president of GE Polymerland in Japan. He has also held marketing and sales positions in Japan and Germany for Bayer after beginning his career with Sumitomo Heavy Industries. He graduated from Keio University in Commercial Science.

As Global Head of Strategy, Dipak Amin will work closely with the leadership of Arysta LifeScience on the development and implementation of the global strategy working through the company's business units. In addition, Dipak will support Chris Richards to ensure the smooth running of the business and to enhance effective teamwork among the company's executive leadership.

Dipak brings over 15 years of successful international management consulting experience as an innovative strategist, technologist and creative problem solver. He has worked for McKinsey and Company with client engagements ranging from performance improvement studies to acquisitions and divestures. At PwC Consulting, he was the Partner leading the US West Region's Strategy practice for the consumer products, retail and biotechnology industry groups.

Dipak received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University majoring in finance, marketing, and business strategy and a B.A. Jt. Hons in economics and econometrics from Nottingham University, England.
