Rudolf van Houten Named Arysta LifeScience CFO
TOKYO, NOV. 14, 2005 – Rudolf van Houten has been named Chief Financial
Officer of Arysta LifeScience, the world’s largest privately-held crop
protection and life science company. Based in Tokyo, Rudolf will begin
his new role in early January, 2006, and will report to Chris Richards,
Arysta LifeScience president and CEO.
"Rudolf brings extensive global experience in a wide range of senior
finance positions in Europe, Japan and the USA,” said Richards. “His
exceptional blend of global experience and his proven track record in
finance are great assets for our company. He will provide effective
leadership for the world class financial team we continue to build in
Arysta LifeScience."
After graduating from The College of William and Mary in Virginia,
Rudolf worked for three years at Summit Bank in New Jersey before
moving to Roche Pharmaceuticals. His seven years with Roche included
three years in Japan as CFO, as well as roles in Greece and in Holland.
Since 2000, Rudolf has worked in finance roles in Quest, most recently
as vice president Finance of the Food Division. Rudolf has an MBA from
IMD, Switzerland. Rudolf replaces Robert Wernick who recently left the
company.
