McCrea Joins Arvesta as Edmonton Area Sales Representative
Calgary, AB (Jan. 3, 2005) – Arvesta Canada, Inc. announced today that
Trent McCrea will be joining the Western Canadian sales team as the
Area Sales Representative in the Edmonton area, starting January 3,
2005.
McCrea most recently worked for Advanta Seeds as the Territory Manager
for West Central Alberta with responsibilities including sales,
marketing, product development and distribution management. Prior to
this he spent 5 years as an Area Representative for Buckman
Laboratories, in Alberta and British Columbia.
“Trent has a great reputation as a Sales Representative, a solid understanding of our current core EVEREST® and SELECT®
products and is a great team player,” said Craig Brekkas, Western
Canadian Manager for Arvesta Canada, Inc. “We are excited to have him
joining our team in this key market area.”
Trent grew up on a mixed farm near Cut Knife, Saskatchewan and received
his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of
Saskatchewan in 1993. Since then he has achieved his Certified Crop
Advisor designation, which he has held since 2001. “I am excited about
the opportunities that Arvesta has to offer; from the people I will be
working with to the products I will be supporting. I am positive I will
enjoy being a part of the Arvesta team.” commented McCrea. Trent
currently resides in Carvel, Alberta with his wife Sherri and his three
boys, 5 years and under.
