Arysta LifeScience Announces Acquisition of Omethoate Insecticide from Bayer CropScience

TOKYO, December 19, 2005 -- Arysta LifeScience today announced that it has acquired omethoate, a broad spectrum insecticide sold under the trade name Le-Mat® and Folimat®, from Bayer CropScience for global distribution. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"Adding Folimat® will make our product portfolio more attractive to fruits/vegetable/row crop growers in Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey and many other countries" said Dr. Chris Richards, president and CEO of Arysta LifeScience. "Le-Mat® also has a well-established position in the Australian pasture market, where Bayer will market the product on our behalf."
