Arvesta Specialty Crop Business Adds Three Sales, Technical Professionals

SAN FRANCISCO (March 9, 2005) – As part of its strategy to bring beneficial, high-quality, yield-enhancing products and services to the industry and achieve growth in its specialty crops business, Arvesta Corporation announces the addition of three sales and technical professionals to its team.

Bernard Olsen is named sales representative for southern California and Arizona, selling all Arvesta conventional chemistries including ELEVATE® Fungicide, CAPTEVATE® Fungicide and KANEMITE™ Miticide. In addition, Olsen will be responsible for selling fumigants and providing technical support to growers, retailers and distributors to set up fumigation systems. Olsen most recently was a technical sales representative with McLaughlin Gormley King Co. He received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Steve Stultz joins Arvesta as a sales representative covering the Central and North Coast of California. Stultz brings a wealth of experience in the strawberry and grape markets to his post. Prior to joining Arvesta, Stultz was a pest control advisor with United Agri Products, Watsonville, Calif. Stultz received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif.

A 20-year veteran of the crop protection industry, Randy Dodds joins Arvesta in the Central San Joaquin Valley as sales representative. Dodds also will provide product management support on Arvesta’s ‘Green Products’ product line. Dodds joins Arvesta from parent company Arysta LifeScience Corporation, where he served as technical consultant for the ‘Green Business.’ Dodds has a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University, Fresno.
