Robert Lence – General Counsel

Rob Lence is general counsel of Arysta LifeScience Corporation, a position he has held since 2003.

Prior to joining Arysta LifeScience, Lence was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Huntsman Corporation, a privately held global chemical business. During Lence’s nine-year tenure with Huntsman, he assisted in the completion of 18 corporate acquisitions, established eight new joint ventures, and closed many financing transactions. Lence also established regulatory and compliance programs for the global business and oversaw a successful financial restructuring.

Prior to joining Huntsman, Lence was a partner of the law firm, VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall and McCarthy, of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Lence received bachelor’s degrees in economics and communication from Stanford University, where he graduated with honours and distinction. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California, where he served as a notes and articles editor for the Southern California Law Review.
