John Street - Global Head, Development & Registration

John Street is global head of development and registration for Arysta LifeScience Corporation with responsibilities for global regulatory leadership and coordination of new research and development projects from external sources.

Prior to joining Arysta LifeScience, Street worked for Syngenta Crop Protection/Zeneca/ICI for more than 30 years in a variety of areas including research, environmental sciences, product development and regulatory affairs. Previously, he was head of registration in Western Europe and a senior regulatory advisor on product acquisitions and divestments for Zeneca. Most recently, Street was Head of Global Regulatory Affairs for Syngenta, providing leadership during the critical post merger phase. He represented Syngenta on the influential Chemicals Committee of Crop Life International.

Street has a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK, and in his early working career, specialized in environmental sciences. He has broadened his experience through working in regulatory affairs and product development to cover all aspects of plant protection product research, development and registration.
