Flavio E. Prezzi - President, Arysta LifeScience South America

Flavio Prezzi is the president and CEO for Arysta LifeScience Corporation do Brasil, a position he has held since 2006. Based in Sao Paulo, he is responsible for the company’s profitable growth strategy in Brazil, one of the world’s largest and growing agriculture markets.

Prior to joining Arysta LifeScience, Prezzi had a successful and broad international career with Syngenta Crop Protection and its predecessor companies, holding positions including president and CEO for Mexico; general manager for the Central America Region; commercial director for Andean Countries, based in Fernhurst (UK); regional manager for Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela, based in Westport, Conn. (USA); and rice product manager in the United States.

Prezzi, a native Brazillian, has a deep knowledge and understanding of the Brazilian agribusiness market and local business culture. He has held positions in Brazil including national technical manager and marketing director for Zeneca. After graduating from college, Prezzi joined Monsanto as a sales representative in the southern region of Brazil.

Prezzi received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre – Brazil. He also has attended executive education programs at Columbia University.
